Vision

The vision of Transition and Leadership Programs is to create welcoming, quality transitional and leadership programs that provide the foundation for the UNC Asheville undergraduate experience, encourage students to begin their journey of self-discovery, and allow students to realize their potential as leaders. UNC Asheville's Transition and Leadership Programs is intended to orient new students to the physical, social, and cultural environment with an appropriate understanding of social issues as well as a respect for, and commitment to, diversity.  Transition and Leadership Programs provides a smooth transition for new students and creates a continuing process in its leadership and transition programs through which individuals are embraced by the UNC Asheville community throughout their years at UNC Asheville.   With this in mind, our core values include: Community, Diversity, Leadership, Learning, Scholarship, and Service.
